01The challenge
Manual dispatching and slow invoicing
DGPlumbingandRooter.com was running their business off phone calls and paper notes. Dispatchers spent hours coordinating with plumbers out in the field, which led to delayed arrivals and lost jobs. Invoicing was done by hand, slowing down how quickly they got paid.
They needed one system that could capture plumbing requests, schedule jobs on a dispatch board, automatically generate estimates and invoices, and follow up with existing customers by email.
02The approach
A dispatch dashboard, automatic invoicing, and targeted articles
We built a custom system with a dispatch panel where office staff can see where plumbers are and assign jobs. Plumbers in the field can generate estimates and send invoices to customers on the spot.
We connected the lead tracker to a scheduling calendar that automatically sends emails — seasonal maintenance reminders, follow-ups, and the like. To bring in organic traffic, we published articles targeting real searches like "burst pipe emergency plumbing" and "clogged drain Glendale."
03The results
Rapid dispatching and 142% call increase
The automated dispatch board shaved 30 minutes off every technician's response time, letting them complete more service calls per day. Digital estimates and invoicing dramatically sped up how quickly they got paid.
Emergency plumbing service calls surged 142%, driven by the speed of the mobile scheduler and the targeted articles ranking first during local pipe emergencies.
